COVID-19 NOTICE.

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our patients and staff.

Our goal is to add peace of mind to the friendliness and clinical excellence you have come to expect. Of course, this is part of an ongoing commitment that will evolve with the times. We welcome the opportunity to answer any of your questions and to address all concerns.

At Vascular Center of the Midwest, we take the risk of spreading COVID-19 very seriously. While we have always prioritized cleanliness and patient safety, we are taking extra precautions to reduce contact by thoroughly disinfecting all surfaces in our offices several times per day. 

​

Patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to reschedule their appointment:

​

  • Feel ill or have a fever

  • Have been in contact with someone experiencing respiratory symptoms or fever

  • Have recently traveled to high-risk Covid-19 areas

  • Have had contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19

COVID-19 related safety measures include the following:  

​

  • Waiting rooms are arranged to allow for optimal social distancing 

  • All employees and patients must wear a mask 

  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout our facilities 

  • The cleaning frequency has been increased 

  • No visitors are permitted except for those accompanying minors and persons who require assistance

As a reminder, everyone should:

​

  • Shield/cover coughs and/or sneezes.

  • Everyone should be washing their hands regularly; especially after touching shared surfaces (i.e. doorknobs, keyboards, telephones, tabletops, refrigerator, etc.), coughing/sneezing into hands, and shaking hands with others. 

  • Supplement hand washing with the use of hand sanitizer.

  • Cleaning/disinfecting high traffic areas regularly with cleaning supplies, such as germicidal surface wipes.
